We are hiring a highly motivated smoke detector, a.k.a. Business Data Analysis Specialist
Joining our team of motivated innovators at the JENSEN-GROUP, you will:
- Manage and actively participate in data governance processes;
- Develop, deploy, and monitor assigned data processes;
- Use code and visual tools to complete projects;
- Communicate clearly with fellow staffers and management;
- Handle data automations, ETL data pipelines, file feeds, reports, and dashboards;
- Be a thought leader in the data and analytics space;
- Be a consultant and a liaison to internal and external teams.
Essential duties will include:
- Understanding of business processes, goals and strategy
- Producing awesome code, perform self-assessed code reviews
- Developing data visualization, dashboards, reports
- Developing data pipelines and file feeds, ETL processes
- Creating a data driven story with data visualizations and recommendations, package it via Microsoft Azure Data Analytics platform and deliver to audience at various levels
- Managing Data Governance (integrity, quality, lineage, metadata)
We’d love you to be mastering a set of skills:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, MIS, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for education requirements.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with code development and performing data analysis to support business needs.
- Expertise with data management: MS SQL server, SSAS, KQL, SSIS, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake.
- Expertise with data visualization and dashboarding: PowerBI, SSRS, Qlik, Tableau.
- Knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 Sales, Field service, MS Dynamics AX data model is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Spoken and written German, French, Spanish is a plus.
